4th and 5th Grade book club finished, “Trapped in Death Cave”, by Bill Wallace. After finishing they made posters to try and recruit more readers! Their posters includes an illustration, main idea, point of view, and a summary!

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Brittanie Nieto is our Mission Elementary Teacher of the Year. Ms. Nieto has taught fifth grade math at Mission for the past five years. She is a very creative teacher with a fun personality and caring spirit. We are so fortunate to have such an innovative and compassionate teacher for our young scholars. Congratulations, Ms. Nieto!
We are so blessed at Mission Elementary to have Mrs. Kristi Locke as our counselor. Mrs. Locke is being celebrated all week by students and staff for the many ways in which she helps keep our campus thriving. We think she is AMAZING!
