Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Coach Craig Pruitt.
Coach Pruitt faithfully served our district for many years, coaching football, track, and wrestling, and mentoring countless students along the way. His impact on our Warrior community will be remembered, and he will be greatly missed.

Please keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Anadarko Public Schools held our bi-annual Tribal Consultation on Wednesday, December 3rd.

These important meetings strengthen communication and build meaningful partnerships with the tribes in our area as we work together to support and improve the educational experience of our Native students.

We are grateful for the collaboration and shared commitment to student success!

Today, Anadarko Public Schools proudly joins our nation in honoring the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces.

We are especially proud to recognize and celebrate our own APS veterans—dedicated staff members who have served our country with courage, honor, and commitment. Your continued service to our students and community reflects the same strength and leadership you demonstrated in uniform.

💬 Join us in showing your appreciation! Drop a “thank you” in the comments to honor our APS veterans and all who serve our nation. ❤️💜💛

This November, Anadarko Public Schools joins the nation in celebrating National Native American Heritage Month.

We are proud to honor the rich and diverse cultures, enduring histories, and invaluable contributions of Native Americans and Alaska Natives — both past and present.

As a district, we reaffirm our commitment to creating an environment of listening and learning, and we encourage our entire community to join us in fostering a deeper understanding and respect for our nation’s first peoples.

Please check with your child's school for a list of celebrations and activities.

💜💛 NATIONAL PRINCIPALS MONTH 💛💜

As we close out a month filled with celebrations across our schools — from National Custodian Day, Coaches Day, and Red Ribbon Week — we want to take a moment to recognize the leaders who make it ALL happen!

October is National Principals Month, and while this month has been full of recognitions, our appreciation for our school leaders is constant.

📚 Research continues to show that school leadership is second only to teaching among all in-school factors that impact student learning and achievement.

An effective principal builds the conditions where teachers thrive, students grow, and a positive culture takes root. Their influence reaches every corner of a school community — shaping vision, trust, and opportunity.

That’s why it’s essential that we continue to build them up, support them, and remind them how much their leadership matters.

💜 Thank you to each Anadarko principal for leading with heart, purpose, and dedication to our students, staff, and families! 💛
