The Anadarko Lady Warriors will play in the Bertha Teague Classic at Ada on Dec. 26-28. All games will be played at the Kerr Activity Center on the campus of East Central University (see bracket below)

I have nothing further to report regarding the threat at East Elementary as it continues to be viewed as a shared copy from another Oklahoma School District..
We are currently dealing with another post which has been on multiple social media accounts throughout the United States that mentions the pulling of the fire alarm to encourage students and staff to run outside and face harm.
Unfortunately, many of our students are continuing to replicate this posting and to share the same screenshots of these images on social media. Please be aware that legal action can be taken against anyone who shares this type of content. We encourage you to remind your child of the importance of reporting any concerning information to an adult or the proper authorities promptly and to take such matters seriously.
Our priority is to ensure the safety of our students. While we do not want to cause unnecessary anxiety, it is crucial that everyone understands the significance of this issue.

Parent Teachers conference make-up will be held Monday September 30th from 3:30 to 7:PM and Wednesday October 2nd from 3:30-6:PM.
Anadarko Parents, Students, and Staff,
I wanted to touch base with each of you regarding the threat last Thursday toward East Elementary. While Law enforcement is still investigating, it is believed that this threat originated from another city in Oklahoma that had an elementary school with East being a part of its name and it was copied to include East Elementary in Anadarko. Once that investigation has been completed, I will once again be reaching out.
In my communication with Anadarko Police Chief Eric Harlin, tomorrow Anadarko Police Department will be placing an officer at each site to increase security measures.
I understand that these types of situations bring increased anxiety to students, staff, and parents. It is important that we all remain vigilant in reporting any suspicious activity to the school administration and law enforcement.
We will work diligently to keep everyone safe at Anadarko Public Schools.
