Anadarko is a city of 6,645 located in southwest Oklahoma, approximately sixty miles southwest of Oklahoma City.  Established on August 6, 1901, Anadarko is the county seat of Caddo County. Anadarko is named after the Nadaco, a Caddo band now affiliated with the Caddo Nation.  Anadarko, self-titled, "Indian Capital of the Nation," is home to the annual American Indian Exposition.


Anadarko Public Schools consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, an adult education center, and an alternative education center.
